Neighbourhood Plan

The Neighbourhood Planning Process is a comprehensive exercise that will take many months and many people to complete. It will involve ongoing technical studies, meetings with City of Coquitlam staff, as well as meetings with the local community and stakeholder groups.

February 2007

OCP Amenment Approved

March 10, 2007

City of Coquitlam approves an OCP Amendment bylaw redesignating the Fraser Mills site "Waterfront Village Centre" and permitting a mix of uses.

Open House #2: Ideas Workshop

May 2007

Come share your ideas for the Village at Fraser Mills with the project team. Tell us your likes and dislikes about other neighbourhoods, as well as any stories you may have about Maillardville history.

Open House #3: Concept Plan & Neighbourhood Plan

May 2008

We'll discuss architectural treatment as well as how your ideas have been incorporated in the plan to date. The ideas and discussions from previous open houses will be compiled into our draft neighbourhood plan and displayed comment and review.
